CCET SOP Bank

Explore Approved Research Statements of the Problem

The SOP Bank is a living repository of pre-validated, technology-aligned research problem statement frameworks, organised by academic discipline and emerging-technology domain. Each entry serves as a credible intellectual starting point for researchers at the conceptualisation stage of their work.

An intellectual scaffold—not finished work

Entries are not finished problem statements to be copied and submitted. They are structured intellectual scaffolds: a problem area framed, a knowledge gap identified, and a technology context situated. Researchers adopt them as a legitimate basis for further scholarly development, refining and originalising each within their own institutional, sectoral, or geographic setting—where the actual contribution is made.

The Bank shortens the route from research idea to defensible problem statement, easing a common cause of postgraduate attrition: the paralysis of not knowing where or how to begin.

The Technology-Alignment Imperative

What separates the RIS from academic editing, proofreading, or tutoring is its systematic orientation toward emerging technologies, treated both as the subject of inquiry and as a methodological lens across every discipline.

In Zambia, recent research on generative AI in higher education reports infrastructure, ethical, policy, and digital-literacy barriers. RIS therefore supports technology-aligned research that can generate evidence to address these constraints while working within current national, regional, and global digital-policy frameworks.
